Use to conduct quantitative fit testing (QNFT) on AIR8 reusable respirators with sampling instruments such as a TSI® PortaCount® Respirator Fit Tester.
- Designed to be used with the AIR8 twin filter respirators: 8900 Full Face Mask and 8600 Half Face Mask
- Quantitative fit testing is required to obtain an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 50 for full facepieces in negative-pressure air-purifying mode
- Easy to install: Whether you’re testing the 8900 Full Face Mask or the 8600 Half Face Mask with a bayonet style cartridge/ filter connection, this adaptor allows you to easily thread the plastic tubing through the inhalation valve into the interior of the facepiece. This enables the sampling instrument, such as a TSI® PortaCount® Respirator Fit Tester, to measure the test agent concentration inside the respirator.
