Sika® MultiPrimer Marine is a solvent-based colorless to slightly yellow primer, which reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives. Sika® MultiPrimer Marine is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika’s 1-component Polyurethanes.
USE
- Sika MultiPrimer Marine is used to improve the adhesion of Sikaflex adhesives on many substrates such as , wood (teak, mahogany, oregon pine and cork), metals such as aluminum and galvanized steel, plastics and paint-primed substrates
- This primer is also suitable to enhance the adhesion of Sikasil sealants and adhesives on porous and nonporous substrates
